Twinkle Twinkle little star

We have all had a super week, reciting our class poem 'Twinkle Twinkle little star'. Can you continue to practise the poem at home? Use the class videos to help you too :-)

Twinkle Twinkle little star,
Oh so bright and oh so far.
In the sky, a tiny dot.
Glowing gas that's very hot.
Twinkle Twinkle little star,
Oh so bright and oh so far.

Beaming, beaming, gleaming moon.
Like a giant white balloon.
Round and round the Earth you spin.
Through the months, new shapes you're in.
Beaming, beaming, gleaming moon.
Like a giant white balloon.

Glowing, glowing, red hot Sun.
Shining light on everyone.
Earth goes round you once a year.
You're a star with atmosphere.
Glowing, glowing, red hot Sun.
Shining light on everyone.

Take a look at this song about our Solar System!

What planets are in our Solar System?

Can you write them in the correct order from the Sun?

Can you tell us a fact about one of them?

Good luck and have fun!

Welcome to year 2!

Hello!

Welcome to year 2 and your new blog!

This year, we are going to have a joint year group blog, so both 2L and 2A can share their learning together.

Let's get started and have a think about our new topic...

Where was this photo taken?
How was this photo taken?

What do you know about this place?

Good luck! We will share our ideas next week.
